All the components need to work well together...If you want a kit this is a decent one...
If you would rather go custom we can list you out some parts....Kit or custom you have to put it together your-self no difference that I can see...
If I were you I would read and learn as much as you can about WC'ing before you start buying parts...That way you can decide for your-self what parts best suit your needs...I will leave you a list of some good links that will help you learn...I leave you a PDF on component cleaning and some of the ways I do my loop...
