$3400 Budget - Can you guys help?

Thread Starter
I want to create the ultimate gaming machine. I have saved up $3400 to spend on a computer. Can you guys give me suggestions on how to get the ultimate rig? If you can suggest a stable, cool case, along with a processor, motherboard, etc, basically all the good parts for a PC, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Buy a nice water cooling setup or phase change kit

Also with the spare money, buy Vista X64 or XP Pro X64 and get yourself 4GB of RAM..

Quad core is really not necessary for gaming . I don't know any games that can utilize it yet.

Save yourself a couple hundred and get an C2D E6600 and OC. WOW look at the price!
