hi.welcom to OCN!
first go into your bios and rais the fsb by 5 mhz at a time and the go into windows.repeat this until you get a BSOD(blue screen of death).then lower you fsb a bit then go into windows and stress you cpu with orthos for 12hours or so to see if its stable.

also you should loosen you ram timings, because you can acheive a higher OC with the loose timings.
and keep an eye on your cpu temps.

I don't know....MSI MS-7252 is not a valid MSI board as far as I can tell. It does not exist on MSI's site. Is this a purchased computer, like a Dell or something? It would help us all if you filed in your system specs. You can do this via your user CP.

Here is the suspected msi motherboard on the msi website but I’m not fully sure myself. Well my computer got ruined and home insurance got me this new motherboard. As far as I remember, they told me the old motherboard got busted lol. Well anyways if for some reason I can’t find the fsb thing, oh ill just forget oc. It is still shocking for me to know that my supposedly msi motherboard is not even in the msi website.

Yes that is your board.
Don't want you giving up on OCing but:
Some quick research on the web shows that this board has no options for overclocking and the manual states that NTune should be used. It appears that this is MSI's policy on boards with integrated video.

You can download the manual for this board here:

Lancer33 thank you. i should give you this vital piece of information. recently i flashed my bios and i was worried whether i got the wrong update.

my manual says that on the main menu of the bios page, there is a function called 'cell menu'. it says that this function specifies settings for frequency/voltage control and overclocking. guess what, it is not in my bios at the moment. if i didnt flash my bios correctly, could that be the reason for the cell menu not appearing?

so weird, the online manual youre giving me doesnt have the 'Cell Menu' function, however it seems to be the correct manual but my manual with me has this function. right, im getting more confused. i might phone MSI lol.

Lancer33, help please and settle it for me.
