Help on the EVGA setup program

The EVGA setup program is pretty good but it says you have to purchase the card from authorized vendors and must not through the promotion program. I have a question on this. If I buy the 7900 GT from newegg and take the $20 mail-in rebate, does this still qualify for this setup program?

Yes, as far as I know.
