LCD Mods - Page 2

I'm with you on the idea of not soldering, I'm not that great at it, haven't done it in years. The problem is I've got 3 Matrox cards that the people here love to use for the ps1 mods, and they're useless to me. Looks like the xbox screen wins out for me too. thanks for the info.

I heard about this site yesterday and was thinking about getting one from them, but I'm not sure it's worth the price for what I was going to do.
Yeah, I looked at those, they are quite expensive.

Actually drive bays are almost 6'' wide. Well, at least on this case they are. The reason I don't want to use the PS1 LCD is the price. It's a little expensive and if I can get an LCD working for less, why not?

NP. I'm going to be ordering the LCD today, should get here this weekend or next week. Before I shove it in my case, I'm going to try and get it working with my current setup to see what needs to be done. The one I linked runs on 12VDC, but I'm not sure how I would hook it to my PSU, so I might just run the power cable out of the back.

Did not know that. . . . hahahahahaha

Doesn't the PSOne LCD use an Intec LCD anyways?

yeah, most of the 5 1/4" bays on my comp boxes measure right around 5 3/4". Big enough for any 5" lcd screen.
