i have a g5 and i can say all the other mice suck compared to this 1 even the copperhead doesnt have the 2000dpi
post #12 of 19
I personally like my G5. Don't bash it...lol.

Anyways, get a 20.1" and go for the more colourful one. You can't say that more colours wouldn't be good...lol

I've heard the G5 is just an overall crap mouse. Mx518 = G7 > G5.

EDIT: Acer makes really great monitors. I've had two of them(19" 8ms 800:1) and this one(22" 8ms 800:1) and they both rock.

Now now, I never said the G5 was bad, I just said it was bad for it's price. I've had a (actually 2, because I thought the first one was faulty) G5's, and they sucked when I moved my mouse really fast. I guess I should post a video on how I play CS, I play at the lowest sensitivity setting possible (1) at 400dpi, and that isn't going well with the G5 because it just crazes out everywhere.

So it will be either this one or this one. But I'm not sure if I want to spend 20 bucks more for 1.1in.

I think any laser mouse will be awesome for me considering that I'm using a rosewill rm800p and before I used a hp that came with the 751n.

What about a wireless keyboard?
BTW I choose the G5 because of its price about $37.

If you want a lot of extra function keys either a G15 with a LCD or a G11 without. If your looking for a more simplistic keyboard go with a Saitek Eclipse.

I don't plan to spend over $35 dollars for a wireless keyboard and the reason for that is that I'm truly happy with this crappy hp keyboard, I won't use anything else other than the volume buttons.
