need help on bad axe 2

Thread Starter
ok Guys and Gals, ive run my mind into a wall and i need some help.

Ive got a 975 system (same one listed below, real life parts no wishing ) and for the life of me i cannot get this thing to over clock to anything without the dreaded memory beeps. ive found some other sites of people overclocked to 3.0 on air and i cant even get past 2.4 on this quad. I want to switch out to one of the new P35 boards prob the MSI or Gigabyte but cant aford it right now after ive already bought all of this. if someone has the same board and cpu as i do or knows of any link to where i can get the exact settings to use i would very much appreciate it, im trying for 3.0 or anything higher than 2.9. this is my 2nd week of trying to do this on my own and cant do anything right. thanks in advanced.

thanks
Myke

Try setting your ram devider lower, loosen the timings, and up the ram voltage a LITTLE. Hope it works, if not I will come up with some more solutions for you.
