Well, let's put it this way.. In a sense, I'm in the same boat - my max on 12v rail is 19a.. When I get an 8800 GT-Whatever... I might end up with the same problem. We help each other out

How are you powering your GTS, with a single PCI-E cable or splitting 2 rails with the provided adapter?

In my mid-tower antec 900, it fits with an 1 1/2 inches to spare. When I put in on silent, OCed to 3.2 @ 1.43 (my 24/7) I'm usually 31°C/50°C-ish Full Load.

Fan on high, subtract a few degrees from both sides. It works. That's just my CPU fan though...

I have 4 x 120mm fans, and a 200mm on top, which I keep on silent too... On high, I idle at like 28C and 46 Load?

Oh, but from what I've heard and seen, the Tuniq 120 Extreme or something along those lines is a better cooling solution, and cheaper too. Look into that, and look into how big it is too.

At the moment i`m using a single pci-e lead but was wondering if using 2 rails would provide enough power.

I don't think there is a problem with your power supply, i have 3 12V lines and they only 16 amps, and i can over clock to 640 something and my 12v rail only drop to 11.6v when underload,

Try using the Adapter with 2 lines.

If i use 2 seperate lines and the adapter will i be able to run other components off the lines as well (dvd writer, floppy drive etc) as i don`t have any more than 2 cables with molex`s for other components.
