Well while I was waiting for replys I overclocked my x600...

I don't care much about OCing, what I really want is the best video card for my system and budget...

How will I know if I can handle them?

GT > XT > PRO > SE ??

I looked at the sticky for the best priced cards and I also saw this one.

I really need help on deciding what one is best (not worrying about overclocking)

It seems like a good card, the same price as the 8600GT I linked before. I really recommend this 8600GT as I have a 17" monitor (max 1280*1024) and so far there was nothing I could give it to slow it down. It runs smoothly any game eve, with my single core processor. Overclocking is always a bonus.

lol i got my sempy to 2.8 on air (only a suiside run though)

i cant get mine to boot 350mhz anymore, as i found out my mobo was putting about 1.8 volts when it was only supposed to do about 1.6, so it runns around 2.7ghz 24/7 because it required hella-less voltage

On topic: I would say get the 8600. at least its -sorta- future proof

My advice is to get a 8600GT or 8500GT. The 8600GT is pretty cheap right now, and the price is around the same as the X1600PRO.
