E6600 OC w/ Gigabyte DS3

Thread Starter
I will be getting my new Gigabyte DS3 tomorrow morning and plan to OC my E6600 with it. Could somebody direct me to a good guide to OC specifically for the Gigabyte DS3. I guess I could google it but I find the information I receive from this website to be more reliable. Thanks.

I have almost the same setup as you, got a modest overclock. Could take pics of my BIOS if you want?

This is an excellent guide to get you started on that board. Once you get it maxed out from that guides help pop back in here and let us know what you got to and we can help you tweak it.

Heres the pics of my BIOS sorry for the delay.

If you haven't updated the BIOS yet, then you have to press F1 at the main screen to get the advanced options.

I haven't been doing this long, but, my advice would be if you can't afford to replace components, then take it slow and don't do anything your not sure of.

As for the x1950 card, its been awesome, and even more of a bargain now. Plays c+c 3 at full settings, and track mania nations at full settings. These are the only games I've played so far. Beautiful.

I'd definitely get an extra fan for the side of the 900 if you havn't already, helped my temps a bit.

<edit> I would recommend updating the BIOS if I were you, if you feel confident doing so. I got quite a few more options.
