again...source?

Its virtually pointless posting things like that unless others can see or read where you obtained the information.

Heres my morsel of useless information without a source

AMD are currently involved in a merger with KFC.....

Ever heard of the 'blind leading the blind' ?

What does a poll achieve other than shows the 'opinions' of what a few people think/hope they will bring out next.

Without a proper source I disregard most comments on this subject.

I'm sorry if that sounds pessimistic but through my work I have to make lucrative decisions based on facts or at least reliable sources.

I think the problem is that it isn't an "official" source and that a poll would only determine a general consensus. Basically you need actually documented for it to be believed, anything else is pure speculation.

Agreed. Please give sources. Although overclock.net has plenty value, it's simply not a resource for hard fact (at best it's a tertiary source, but I haven't found a thread that has a link to a secondary or even a primary source).

To answer that 'make a poll' instead of providing a true source for the fact that is in question is a bit rude in my opinion.

Again, pointless and borderline rude.

Someone states as a fact that there will be no 8900, and that the 9xxx series will come by the end of the year. Come on, one would expect him to have a source? Otherwise, it's nonsense, and should not be believed.

I do believe Cog's fact though.... mmm chicken fried on CPUs

So basically ALL you have is a hunch.

Thats great for you and you're well entitled to it but I don't do hunches.
