Is this folding okay with my rig, I am almost going to finish my FIRST WORK UNIT, actually excited, but people say it's pretty much useless since my computer is old and stuff, but still happy, since I will make it in 2.8 days. Totally before the due dates. I hope I am contributing?

If you are meeting the deadlines, you are helping out. You dont need a super fast computer to make a difference. Great job an finishing your first of hopefulling many WUs.

Hey man ignore those other guys. Every little bit helps. If you are getting the WU's done before the deadline then thats superb. Yeah granted your machine may fold slower than others but who cares. atleast your contributing.

^ Oh okay, thanks. I already finally got one unit in 2.8 days. I think that's good for my computer. =D How fast the does the folding site update? I don't see my score for this one unit.

Stanford's site updates hourly, EOC's is every three hours, and ours is daily.

Time for WUs is very hit or miss. Some low point WUs take days while higher point ones fly by. It averages out over time, though, so while it stinks to get the slow ones, it's really nice when a fast one comes through.
