Alright...common sense and logic are taking over
I've decided this project is stupid, but fun. I'm still going to get the EPoX, the SI97A and the Cooler Master Aero 7+. However, I'm not going to get as many CPUs as I was planning to get originally (unless I win a lot of 24 S462 CPU's for cheap). I'll just OC a few:
AXP 1800+ (I checked online for my steppings and I'm lucky
AXP 2400+ (Also decent steppings)
Maybe one or two Thunderbirds to Pencil Mod
that's it. They will be paired with Crucial Ballistix DDR500 RAM and the SI97A.
What I felt would be easier, would be to overclock a whole bunch of AGP cards to the limit and pair it with an e4400 @ 3.0Ghz on an ASRock PCI-E/AGP motherboard. I'd get more records that way. I will use the same RAM.
Well, this will be interesting....build log coming soon after my paycheck and/or when I get the parts (a week or two from now
