x1600 help

hey guys ok i have a saphire radeon x1600 pro 512 and well i have recently downloaded ati traytools and it says my core clock gpu speed is 500 and mem is 300 but i have looked around and what i have seen shouldint my mem core be higher speed then 300? is this wrong and can someone please find out what it should be for the exact model i have thanks =)

Um i think thats right it is showing you 300 which the mem is DDR so its effective clock is 600Mhz

Your memory clock should be 400 (800DDR), not 300. It goes for both the PCIe and AGP versions of the card.

However, if ATI tray tools says it's 300, it doesn't mean it's really 300. Check at least with a second software like ATI TOOL, or RivaTuner. If it's the case, you should speak to whoever sold it to you and make them fix the mistake.

445 = 890DDR. You're already above 800mhz.

Memory clock is computed like this (a bit of math can't hurt mate):
- take what ATI Tool is saying (suppose 300) and multiply by 2 for a grand total of 600. You say you've OCed to 445, than you have your memory at 890, as spike very well said it.

I makes no difference if it's DDR, DDR2, 3 or even 4, it's the same: it's Double Date Rate, aka you have to multiply by 2.

but like he said its saposed to be at 400 so its only 90 mhz overclocked so should i take it up 10 more making it a complete 200 over?
