Looking to Buy a 7900 XFX GTX 512

I cant find one at a good price, all are at 550+. This thing rair or something? i bought mine for 450. i wanted to get another and SLI them because i know they would rock. Any 1 know a place i can buy one that is not Crazy?

It is not worth the money

They were discontinued a long time ago.

Due to stock shortages the prices will not drop on them

Consider selling the one you have and getting a DX10 card if you want to upgrade.

Or keep that card, it is plentyful for most games out now.

or spend the money on a new processor and mobo. sell the 7900 and get a 8 series

Spend the 500 bucks on a new MB and CPU. Actually, shouldnt cost you more than 400 bucks.

even probably a little less than that. then use the rest plus the money from the 7900 and u got a 8800gts 320mb... maybe

Bartons options were better.

Keep that card for a while, you have no reasont o get a DX10 card yet

Wait until some native DX10 games come out and see how the first gen DX10 cards perform.

If they are a success then invest in one.

Or if you really can't wait, get one now

But don't expect to get alot for your card compared to retail price.

EDIT: I strongly advise against the 320mb version. Most cards with 256mb of RAM have already shown to struggle in DX9 games, 320mb could end up a dead end for DX10. I could be wrong, but that is why i advise waiting this one out.
