EDIT: I strongly advise against the 320mb version. Most cards with 256mb of RAM have already shown to struggle in DX9 games, 320mb could end up a dead end for DX10. I could be wrong, but that is why i advise waiting this one out.
helping him save money for the whole reason he started the thread. a video card. I just wouldnt spend 224 on that mobo. and you would need to replace that asus when the 1333's come out.

i havent ever really invested into a good mob, alwas spent around 100 bucks on a intel board. i want a good OC board that i can upgrade with for at least a year and a half.

Any 1 have any other sujestions?

I would get an Asus P5N32-E Motherboard + Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 for $400, after shipping and taxes. You'll get a lot more FPS than getting another 7900GTX. I would get an SLi motherboard because you can drop in an 8800GTX, and maybe another one later.
