after talking to a mate who designs website i have decided to learn the code the hard way and just use a photoeditor and notepad!

but my god theres a lot to learn i have just gained a hell of alot of respect for anyone who does this stuff for a living!

Its really not that hard after you get used to the syntax. Once you get to the point where you want to make life easier for yourself you can try the following.

for PHP websites
Dreamweaver + MySQL 5

for ASP.net websites
Visual Web Dev + MSSQL Express OR Mysql 5
