If it were not for the XT cooler, I'd say the XT.
Have they released a new revision fixing the cooler issue?
I've had a His 1950Pro and a 7800GS, the Pro was a great card when it worked, quiet and cool running, Oc'd 648/1580. I still have my GS, oc'd 500/1640.
My vote is the

Also have the driver issues been resolved with the 7950GT?

I just need it to overclock well with aftermarket cooling that's all

I'd prefer an X19xx series for folding, but if the 79xx series are much better overclockers then I will go with one of those.

Here's what I'm considering:

XFX 7950GT 512MB Good OC'er, fast, no folding

X1950XT 256MB So-so overclocker, cooler isn't so great, fastest, folding

7900GS 256MB Good overclocker, no folding, not super powerful

X1950Pro 512MB Good GPU OC, not so good mem OC, folding, powerful

X1950Pro 256MB Same as above with 1/2 memory

X1950GT 256MB More pipelines??? Bad OC, folding, fast

7800GS Slower, good OC, no folding, factory OC, "step up" (I think)

I've heard that the X1950XT TEC cooler is really hard to take off and is crap. Because of that, I'm leaning towards the 256MB X1950Pro...

So can some people post their overclocks for some of these cards? Doesn't matter if it's PCI-E

(btw I'm getting aftermarket cooling so the cooling system doesn't matter that much)

Poll coming soon!

Thanks!

if price is no object then why do you still use AGP

I vote x1950xt. I am not sure of the overclocking ability but its good at stock anyways

I don't know...I sure hope they are.

Regardless, if I get the XT, I will pry the cooler off. If I get the GT, I will get the latest updates and OC anyway .

Also, does anybody know of any new cards that are going to be released on AGP? I've only heard about the 2600XT but...whatever I'll just get the X1950XT
