EK CPU water block contact problem.

Thread Starter
Does anyone use the EK CPU water block? I have it hooked up to my EVGA 680i and I think it's not making great contact because of these two R50 prong pin things at the top of the board preventing the block from pushing down all the way, I have reseated the block ten times and tried to push as hard as I can and I am still getting 35c idle temps on a stock e6600. I was just curious if anyone successfully uses the EK cpu waterblock with the EVGA 680i A1 edition.

Sounds like you might be right about the contact being a little off cause of the pins. But it could also be the temp monitoring program you are using. Try a couple different one's and see if you get similar readings.
