hi,
can someone please show me how much arctic silver i need on my opty 165.ive tried different methods but its still hot.im using a 9700 led cooler and idle at about 40 c.ambient temps are 22 c.

Make it 0.003inches thick, from what it say on arctic silver website. But I don't know how to measure....that

according to artic silver website, it takes 200 hours or so for the thermal paste to be fully functioning. so maybe only after 200 hours then you may see a difference in temperature. also you can try to lap your heatsink and make sure it is properly seated. i hope that can help
