Thanks all...

Couple questions though... If you were to compare this to:
A stock AMD Opteron heat pipe cooler
A 120 extreme

How does the 112 stack up?

Burn

I was doing some reading and ran across an old discussion saying that the 112 doesn't perform well in a tower. Something about how the heatpipes are oriented with the MB verticle....any thoughts?

Thanks....

Great deal for $5. It will be better than the stock heatsink, and it will work fine in a tower case.

that's probably because heatpipes were new then...nobody knew how they worked. It'll be fine in a tower case.
