I got my new SATA HDD today and I go to install XP Pro on it and I hit a problem that says that the NTKSL booter/kernel/whatever it's called is missing. Usually what it says when your OS install is corrupt. It doesn't even pop up with the "hit enter to boot from cd" option, it just goes right to not being able to find the kernal. So, my question is, when I put in the old IDE drive, it works fine. Is my computer ignoring the DVDROM as a boot drive while the SATA is in? That's what it kinda seems like, it reads from it, but gives no option to boot from it. Any help would be great to end this headache.
