No i dont think it is...it doesnt have the 15000:1 ratio and it doesnt output 1080p..trust me a 1080p tv with a high spec like that samsung for under £1000 is a great deal.

I have a Westinghouse LVM-W3 37" 1080P (1920*1080 native @ 75Hz) and I LOVE IT. It was $1K at newegg.com, but they seem to be sold out now...HMM.
Well you want to run your PC through DVI with HDCP. PS3 on HDMI with HDCP.

You also want to make sure that it supports dual-link DVI, not just component and HDMI.
All the info you need here:
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=655280
That samsung isn't going to look good with that res. You want 1080P, nothing less.

Like someone else said, if you want the best picture with a PS3, 1080p really is the way to go.

That is a sweet LCD. It has a plasma's contrast ratio. 15K:1 is REAL high. 3x HDMI input...very nice.

Oh, and i wouldn't buy an HDTV online without having actually seen it in a store first.

If you're getting HDMI, there's a 99.9% chance it'll have component inputs.

You don't need dual DVI.

DVI is the same as HDMI, except for that HDMI carries an audio signal and DVI does not. DVI provides resolutions up to 1080P (1900x1080). Dual DVI will give you 2560 × 1600 or something like that.

I will also tell u thats a great TV. I have its 23" baby brother and I adore it. Great image, 1080i and not to mention a built in HDTuner which surprisingly alot of LCDs dont have.I'd Highly recommend sticking with that samsung.
