Doom on DS

i was on youtube and saw someone with doom on their DS. so i looked it up, and i got the game. does anyone know how to install it on to the DS. is it legal for that mater?

It is an iffy topic really, you are better off doing research on your own because this topic is somewhat illegal. You will need a form of homebrew emulation or something along those lines.

You need a GBA flash cart and the rest writes itself.

I don't think it's really all that much of "grey area". The engine is open source but not Doom itself. If you don't own Doom it's illegal to download the WAD files to get this thing running ... perhaps a moral grey area more then anything

DS-Extreme's are overpriced. M3S/R4 + a micro sd card off ebay are way more cost efficient and do the exact same thing. Plus you can have multiple sd cards if you want extra storage.

As long as you own an original copy of Doom (the same requirement for using the open-source code to play Doom), then I don't think there is a legal problem running a version of the Doom engine that has been compiled for the DS.
