Does your Mobo require any other power connections?
Do you know if the power supply is good?

EDIT:Theres a guide on how to test your power supply:

i have no idea what you said, but first thing's first

#1 unplug ALL of your connections from your mobo to the case, usb back pannel connectors, and front panel and ALL. ALSO remove your case fan power connections and random lights, and etc.

#2 now from the top, Plug in the 24 pin atx power connector,
then plug in the 4 or 8 pin cpu power.
now plug in the cpu fan power in to the cpu fan port
now at this point there should only be 3 wires connected to your mobo, if you have a graphics card that takes power plug then plug that in.

#3 now its time to hook up your power switch, hook it up and press power, if your computer powers on now you should be good to go

note: if you have a case fan that has both 3pin connector and 4 pin connector only use one, do not use both.

another note: having 3 fans on 1 plug should not effect your computer from turning on, as long as there isn't a short.

now if your computer does not power on at this point,

#1 did you plug in the psu to the wall outlet? i know i forgot that a few times.
#2 did you flip the psu power switch? i also forgot that few times
#3 does the wall outlet or the psu not have power?
#4 if all connections are unplugged except what i said above, now check to see if you have a short somewhere on the mobo to the case.
#5 try using a different power supply.
#6 if you used a different power supply (known working), wall outlet (proved to be working), and only have 4 cables connect to your computer ( 24 pin, 4/8 pin, cpu power and power switch), and checked for shorts, then your switch is probably not wired correctly, or your mobo is dead.

if you get this far, remove the board from the case, and have the 24 pin and the 4 pin cpu power and the cpu fan connected, and put it on a box or soemthing, do not connect the power switch, now take a jumper and short the power switch connector on the board. if it turns on, your board has a short with the case somewhere.

well the cpu heatsink fan connects to three pins sticking off the motherboard if thats what your talking about. The other fans connect to the four pin molexes from your power supply
