take out the two 512s and then try to run at 2.6 with mem at 333.. or should i set them lower? Also what kinda mem timings should I use? or will the defaults be ok?

2.6GHZ with mem at 333 will make your ram running @ DDR430 so i think \\ it "Mostly"wont be a problem if you will run with Stock voltage and stock timings labeled @ your Sticks

but with 4 dimms things might be different and needs more testing

you just need to know that it is very easy to OverClock but you will need some patience and just a warning that you might become addicted like some

easy ???? it is very easy ...
you need Super PI as a start when you boot to windows say @ 2.4 then run something quick like 1M then reboot 2.43GHZ 1M and so on till you reach your grand final then run 32M as a quick stabilty test and then Use Ortho to run dual instance of prime 95 for a long time (Copy both Ortho and Prime95 in the same folder and use Ortho to check stability ) ,,,
SO you short list
1)CPUz
2)Super pi
3)Ortho
4)prime95

and these are the basics

Most of those Dual core Optimizers are targeting Cool and Quiet and you should disable this If you are OverClocking rather than that i don't know anything about them and i don't use any and that 2800X2 is a typo it is 3800X2 Toledo

and here is a quick A64 OC guide written by a friend of mine that might help you
