Make sure you are connected to the cpu fan header and not a system fan header.

OK, I am going to assume that by "Asus 580X Crossfire" you mean Asus M2R32-MVP. Have you updated to the latest bios (can be found here: http://support.asus.com/download/dow...anguage=en-us). Latest Bios is 0804.

Your motherboard has a 4 pin fan header for the CPU fan. If your fan only has 3 pins ensure that it is positioned on the fan header correctly.

Check your CPU fan RPM by in Bios or by using PC Probe II which was bundled with your MB software.

I think you can disable the alarm in Bios by going to: Hardware Monitor > CPU Fan Speed > Ignore. Please insure that your fan is functioning properly before you do this.

You may also want to disable Cool & Quiet in Bios.

What is your CPU fan RPM in PC Probe?
If you flash your bios make sure you fully understand how to do it correctly and do not try to do it from within windows. Flash from a floppy at boot.
Fan should be pluged into header so that it is over the red pins as shown below.

I'm not sure where you locate the RPM...
Vcore = 1.24V
+3.3 = 3.26V
+5 = 5.08V
+12 = 11.86 V
42 Cpu
Mb 33
And i've never flashed a bios before..
and thats how i have the fan plugged in

67C is high. I would check CPU fan RPM and also download Core Temp (http://www.overclock.net/downloads/1...er-0-95-a.html) and post what it says temps are.

What TIM did you use between the Cooler and the CPU? Is the CPU seated evenly?
