Fan speed can be found in your Bios at: Hardware Monitor > CPU Fan Speed. If is set to "Ignore" change it to enable.
Don't worry about flashing your bios until we figure out if your temps are OK. We may not have to flash it.

Was there a grey square pad on the bottom of the cooler?

Did you use the cooler that came with the CPU?
If so did you remove the plastic cover?

OK, if CPU fan speed is N/A it indicates that the CPU fan is either not connected to the correct header, not connected correctly, or not functioning.

Can you please re-check the connections insuring that the connector from the cooler fan to the MB is plugged in to the correct header, is oriented correctly and is pushed fully on to the pins.

Also check visually to insure that the fan is operating.

Are you using the stock cooler?

Cooler fan should be plugged into the header shown in the two attached pictures. Note that the CPU fan header has four pins while the others only have 3.

Yes it is. Did you follow the instructions in the manual?
Is the black lever located next to the cooler bracket locked down?
Did you remove the protective plastic cover from the cooler?
