Hey if you use bass boost on 100% what is a good cut off frequency in HZ?

I am an audio guy, thats why I moderate this forum rather than extreme cooling or something. However, I have never used an Audigy SE, so I can't give driver-specific answers. I'll try though, and hopefully it makes some sense.

If I'm interpreting your question right, it's asking at what frequency you want the bass boost to loudest at. So, it's simply personal preference, based on both what you are listening to and your speakers/headphones. For example: I think that my headphones are a little lacking in bass, so in Foobar I set the EQ for a slight 3dB boost at 110hz, 5dB at 70hz, and 7dB at 50hz. I feel that that rounds out the low end without being obtrusive. For listening with speakers, I turn off that EQ as they handle the bass fine on their own. There really is no one "good" setting, it's all about your ears.

Here, this is what I mean: What should I change this cut off option to? I do not understand it.

Hmm.... The cutoff part is easy enough to understand, but they don't tell whether it's the high-pass or the low-pass. (High-pass being nothing higher than that frequency gets the boost, low-pass being the opposite.) Niether one makes much sense combined with a bass boost, it would belong better on the bass management page. I really don't know on this one. Perhaps consult Creative?

Depends how its setup. I don't have the card he is talking about, but if its powering a sub-woofer you want the High-pass to cut off the base so the sub doesn't start producing vocals, and likewise you don't want regular speakers trying to push 35hz. But again, I don't have this card so I'm not sure how its set up.

Edit: Just looked at the pic
What its talking about is, anything below that frequency is getting a large boost in bass. So if you have a power sub hooked up it'll jump its base up. There's not set value, just move the slider and see what sounds best for your setup. Every set of speakers / subs have different peak frequencies.

80 is the true setting for balanced bass in THX. Any lower and you will get too much thud when watching movies.
