D-tek Fuzion Nozzle Experiement - Page 2

Yeah, but in the end with my ambients going up and down as much as they do during the summer, I'm having a hard time telling with any real comfort. Overall the lack in accuracy with all this leaves it a bit on the subjective side for me.

But if you want my somewhat subjective results...I'd say it was worth about 1-2C, either that or I continue to get better at mounting..

I think for the C2D, a slot style nozzle would be best, that way you could focus the energy along a strip that better matches the core location and shape. Going to try a slot nozzle next. I've also been working on trying to remove the IHS from my processor by lapping the crap out of it.

I think I made it half way through before my fingers gave up, I'll probably continue with that effort as well maybe next week.

I've intended to do something like this since my D-Tek arrived last month.
And thanks to your post, Martin, I got her done. Shown in the picture is
the nylon bushing used and the end product installed. Results to follow.

Go here http://imageshack.us/ stumble around and you'll get it...after awhile. Upload a pic, and it will spit out code for however you want to present an image. drop it (the code) into your post...and away!

Nah, I didnt take any pics...I just used a thick plastic spacer and drilled holes in it. It looks very similar to the copper nozzle posted above.

..and I am running my P4 630j @ 3.6ghz on a ECS 945-p rev 1.1
