noob at ocing want to oc my old rig

Thread Starter
Ok heres the specs:
AMD Athlon 3200+ (I have another hight model but its my friends and im just holding it for now.)
Zalman 9500
Gigabyte K8NSC939
Gskill 1gb ram 2.3cas (red hs)
ATI Radeon 9550

When i go into the bios there is something called mb intelligent tweaker and it gives me these options:

hammer fid control
cpu voltage control
agp voltage control
ht-link voltage control
ddr voltage control

The idle temps are around 30c atm.

Also what are some good applications to test that the oc is indeed stable? I know cpuz is a good program for info and what not.

In order to see the advanced options on a Gigabyte board you need to hit CRTL+F1, that should give you the ability to see what you need to get ocing. Do that and then check out an ocing guide such as this for direction.
For stability use Prime95, Orthos and OCCT.

Go for FSB first and find what your RAM maxes at. Use memtest to check it out. #5 will show you if you've got problems before anything else will.

Is your memory still in a 1:1? If so you may want to put a divider on that before throwing more voltage at it. Use the "memory" tab on cpu-z to find where you are at in that regaurd.
