Thread Starter
Hi

8x384 is the max I'm getting, but that doesn't seem very good to me. Above that the system doesn't POST or it will reset to defaults. Is there something I'm missing, or could this be the limit of my components.

Best is 8x384 1.4vcore (seems high compared to others, although temps are fine.) I only got it to POST once at this config, which seems odd to me.

I'm wondering if my PSU isn't up to it; It's a CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Duo 650W (I only wanted a 500W but that was all the store had.)

Or any more ideas floating around there.

vdimm is at +.3 PCI-E at 100MHz, should i be upping other voltages?

Thanks

Don't worry about the Vfsb or MCH voltages.. Those usually do not need any increase.. But if all else is failing you then try them..

1.4vcore @384fsb is not bad at all man.. In fact your settings are pretty typical of what I try to aim for when building an E4300 rig..

I would try to see what vcore is needed for you to run 384fsb x9.. I'd bet right under 1.5vcore say around 1.475v or 1.4685v..

Don't expect to hit 400fsb or beyond.. Its very rare.. I just happen to have bought my cpu and mobo at the right time.. It's not just the cpu that gives me 400fsb, the mobo plays an important part too..

I know plenty of people out there that would love to have your 384fsb..

Edit: i doubt its your psu..
