I believe 100mhz is standard for PCI-E. If you set it to Auto, it'll scale with the overclock, and when it reaches 110mhz or so, you won't be able to boot. So don't put it on Auto. Leave it at 100mhz. It is likely the ambient temperatures in your case causing your card to overheat.
