I just recently recommended some hardware for a build idea we are playing with for someone in the clan. He doesnt game much(45 minutes a night), and is only expecting mid to low settings for his stuff. So this is the list i came up with. BTW he insists on a 650 mobo, windows vista home and a DX10 geforce 8 series card... Total is $1,145.77, budget is 1200 tops.

Don't buy exclusively from Newegg.com. You can save $100 or more by shopping around. TankGuys.com has the E6600 for $199.99

Some great etailers:

Newegg.com
Mwave.com
Ewiz.com
Zipzoomfly.com
Buy.com
Performance-Pcs.com
TankGuys.com
Jab-tech.com
