All versions of linux are free. Some, like RedHat or SuSe, will charge you for support though, but they are geared to enterprise servers where downtime cannot happen.

Yeah, I love ubuntu.

I only use windows for gaming, but with Cedega, I can still play most games in Linux.

I just get slower frames, and AA doesn't work. So I use windows most of the time.

for some reason, Ubuntu will not 'Fully' load. As in, after the loading screen nothing happens(i waited like, 30 min)

are their any bios options that i am required to change? I also remember hearing my mobo isnt compatible with linux... but that was off of a newegg review, so he was prolly a total noobZ0R

only option with 'OS' is if it has less than 64mb of ram....

Did you verify the download and the burned disk? Sounds like corrupt media to me.

The Tforce550 works fine with linux.
