3rd Party Cooling

Thread Starter
I am looking for cheap 3rd party cooling to help me OC my E6420.

So far I am debating between the Arctic Freezer Pro-7 and the GeminII. If you know of another around this price range that you would stand by let me know with a link.

If you own either of these or another one, please comment on:
-Its cooling ability (what volt / temps are you getting, and it vs stock)
-The noise
-The ease of installation
-Any other important factors.

I am aware that it is recommended that you use 2 fans with the GeminII which are not included (but they only cost like $7). Please let me know if you have these installed, and any differences between before the fans and after.

I used the freezer pro-7 for a while and liked it. To be honest, I don't know what the stock hs would have performed like. Installation is the same as the stock intel stuff (push-pins). Noise was minimal. Nice for the price.

GeminII. its probably THE most underrated cooler ever. it costs you only half of what the T120E will cost you, while it wont get you more than a few degrees lower.
Best bang for the buck. probably even if you still have to buy the fans.
