x2 3600+ brisbane New OC'er advice

Thread Starter
So I just got the computer put together listed in my sig. I was trying to hit around 2.5 ghz but kept getting "Now system is in safe mode, try changing CPU frequency in cmos and restart (hit del to enter setup)"

so i lowered it down to 2.32, can anyone give some advice to try and get this baby up to 2.5 ? Thanks

Agree with wh33ls, also might need vcore. One of my 3600's only hit 2.25 on stock volts.

Also try changing your command rate on your ram to 1T instead of 2T. It made a huge difference to my O.C.

thanks a lot whe3ls and pr1m3r. i got it up to 2426mhz @ 255fsbx 9.5. I'm happy with that so i think i'll be done for now. maybe tweak it some more if i get a badass game that needs it.

thx again

I think your problem may be either your HTT multiplier or your ram not set to a divider. Play around in your bios and set your ram to a divider that's lower the 333mhz or 667mhz.
