Not many peformance drives come in a 320GB flavor, but for overall performance without RAID my vote goes to the 7200.10 drives. Tons of space, great speed and a 5 year warranty.

I use two of those Seagate 320GB 7200.10 hard drives and they perform great. This has been awhile, but I got 3 bad ones in a row from Newegg. But I got 2 from Tigerdirect and those two have worked perfect. I think Newegg had a bad batch, but they are probably long gone by now.

I personaly have had narry a bad incident with newegg. As a matter of fact, I would hesitate to purchase anywhere other than newegg due to the great service and awsome RMA program. My personal favorite drives are WD drives. I have 7 Western digital Hard drives, one of which is over 5 years old without a single one fail. Everyone will have there own oppinion on drives and which ones are the best, most reliable, ect. but my personal favorite is Western Digital.

I'd go with the 7200.10's as others have said. I've got one and it's great. I built a RAID array for NAS for an office and used seven of the 7200.10's (didn't need the huge performance gains like using Raptors) and configured them for RAID 10 with a hot spare. I love 'em and would use them again.
