Woes of P5N-E CMOS Jump...

Thread Starter
Ok, so tonight I was certian my new machine was stable and I was going to start OC'ing...I was goofing around in my Bios and saw the AI 20% Overclock option, I said hmm I wonder what that does, did it and restarted but couldnt even get into bios settings...Waited for C.P.R. but no luck...Balled up and did my Cmos jumper...Turned off my PSU, (light went off then), jumped the jumper for about 20 seconds, put the jumper back, turned on the PSU again and I have no video at all now...So I tried the jump agian, even pulled the battery...No luck at all...

Anyone know whats going on?

Did I fry my board?

I have to pull the jumper, turn it on, nothing happen, shut down then put jumper on and boot into bios.

Jump the jumper and turn the power on for the post screen. Turn it back off and un jump the jumper. You should be good now.

Can we not say JUMP the JUMPER... lol it just sounds funny!

Moto- if and when you get it going, forget the 20% AI OC...
If you need help, just hit us up in the P5N-E thread.

That's assuming you get it going.
Somethin' tells me that starting up w/ "jumper jumped" (lol) may do it.

If the board gets fried over the stupid AI OC and the CMOS jump I am going to punch someone in the eye. I keep trying stuff over and over so...Hope someone knows whats going on...
No it wasn't AI OC...
But it is pointless anyway.
I have seen this before, try doing a search... "no video" maybe?
