dead pixel?

Thread Starter
i just bought a new laptop and discovered that the screen has one possibly dead pixel right in the middle of it. the reason that i am questioning whether it is dead or not is because on red and blue it is not visable but shades of blue show it and green shows it very clearly. i was just wondering if this was a dead pixel and i should try and contact the manufacturer or if it is just stuck or lazy
thanks for any help
