Cheap PSU, which of these?

Thread Starter
Hi guys. I want to buy my folding rig, a new PSU. At the moment it's got a generic 200W. It runs the Celeron I have in there fine, but I'm planning to buy a C2D for my main rig and my Pentium D 805 will move to the folding rig and be overclocked. I know it eats power. So I'm going to need more than 200W.

There is nothing else in the case. Onboard video, a old Seagate 13GB (5400rpm).

I have a list of PSUs, I'd just like your input on which one would be best for running what I stated above.
These are the cheapest I could find, I don't want something expensive.
In order of price.

AOpen 400W (Cheapest)
Codegen 350W
CoolerMaster Extreme power 430W
Thermaltake TR2 430W (Most expensive)

Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I can't get that locally.

Anyone else? I saw a thread about Codegen, but the guys said it is utter crap. And the CoolerMaster and Thermaltake is about the same price. I'm thinking going with the TT then.

AOpen... well. My friend bought a 450W, it was DOA, but he found that out too late to return it. PC shop took their time. >_> So he bought another one, cause they are cheap. And it worked. But it's starting to pack up. Restarts, shutdowns. This only after about 6 months.

My own AOpen 400W packed up after a year. Running a OCZ now.
So, let me know guys. CoolerMaster or Thermaltake? I'm leaning towards the TT. I'm in no rush. I'll probably only buy it next week sometime.

Thanks.

Out of those, the Thermaltake is probably your best bet. But I would look into some Sparkle or FSP psus if you can find them.

Well, those are the cheapest I can find locally. No Sparkle or FSP.

I'll see what other people say, but I think they'll all say the TT instead of the Coolermaster.

Ehh just get the CM one. It's silent, and I have the 550w version of it.

Get the TT.
Only reason I say not to get CM... It say EXTREME POWER and it's only 430w.
I think that should be illegal. lol.

Especially for all the nubs shopping, oh snap! It says extreme! It oughtta power all my Fatality brand items in my $400 alienware case! 1337!
