Dual Boot/Partitions Questions...

Thread Starter
Alright, so I'm receiving my new HD today...

Since, I have a legitimate copy of Windows x64, and Windows Prof. Edition...

Should I, install the operating systems on separate partitions, and how much space should each partition have if I'm only going to install the operating systems on the partition.

Yup. Create partitions for each dual boots. Microsoft recommends 1.5GB of storage for Windows x64. So, if you choose 50GB for pure gaming storage, it'll be enough for Windows.

So, anything pass 4GB, you'll have enough for the OS and drivers you're going to install. Any other amount you like to add into it, do as you wish.

I've tried to install windows on a 4GB partition, but always forget to change where in install games/programs. Is there an easy way to change where the default "Program Files" folder is?

wait... So, should I make a partition for windows prof. + games and a partition for x64? Or should I make a partition for windows prof, x64, and separate storage?
