LOL @ a 512mb DDR4 128 bit card for 240 bucks...obviously the 320mb 8800GTS will crap on this card.

I think if the prices are low enough you could probably get hela performance out of two 2600Xt's in crossfire for less than an equivalent single card (hoping anyway, lol).

I agree; if prices for the GDDR4 XT fall below the 160$/card, I'll definitely buy two.

Obviously, the 8800GTS' competition is the HD2900XT; 2600XT vs 8600GTS, 2600Pro vs 8600GT, et cetera. But I'm sure you knew that already, and were comparing apples to oranges for fun.

Europe pays a bit more than we do, plus that's the posted retail. In reality we'll probably see a stabilized price around $180-200.
