I'm not going to argue with you, but I just wanted to point out that Guru3d says its a beta driver and includes a list of supported cards...
cards other than the 8800 are supported according to them.
It's all irrelevant to me since none of them work.

interesting, because the last time I checked (earlier in June) the official beta downloads on the Nvidia site, the card support list was only the 8800 cards.
