Right take a look at this.

1600mhz for core speed? with a mulitplier of 6?

What the crap happened...my comp is running pretty slow too.

raise ur multiplier to 8 and u get stock. try and see if u can get to or past 400x8

edit: nvm, the ram gonna limit u to ~340 =( unless u use a divider.

You have C1E enabled. What it does is it reduce your clock speed whenever you're idle and jumps back up to your overclock speed when you load something.

Go into your BIOS, go into Advance BIOS Feature, look for something called. CPU Enhancement (C1E). And just disable that.

no, you'll just be confused at what clock you are at since it jumps around. ha. its good to use if you like to leave your computer on all day since it will get hot in the room if u have high voltage.

Yup.

If you overclock to 2.9Ghz, there's no need for it to run 2.9Ghz when you're doing nothing. So, I leave mines on to keep my CPU stress-free when I'm idle.

And leaving it on will not cause instability. I'd recommend leaving it on.

i usually run with the multi at 6, 7 is unstable in most OC for me, should i turn it off since there is no lower multi for it to go to?
