Between NOD32 and KasterSpy 7, it is a hard pick because they're both one of the best anti-viruses.
Now THAT my friend, is an assumption!
I wouldnt take it too hard on you though - a lot of the later nortons are like that (2003 foward)
BUT. NAV corporate Edition is NOT like that.
In my experience (I've never had NOD on my OWN PC) nothing beats SAV!
corporate edition has such a SIMPLISTIC and DRY (no fancyness) GUI, and that in the first degree, is what makes it different from so many others.
If you've ever been hit with a Denial Of service Virus, then you know that the worse thing is when the "help" - the software thats supposed to be rescuing you - is all pretty and flancy with colors, and takes FOREVER, to come up! (if it all!) because its plain and simple - asking the CPU for time it doesnt have!
I've been there with NavCE and it has always pulled through for me - its fast, and its really stable - not at all like the other nortons that had decent engines, lovely definitions... but were a bit on the resource hoggy side.
Me being a person who doesnt (cant anyway
) buy soft - I'm allways dwnling cracks, many of which, have virri embedded in them.
And trust me - so long as you get all of norton Sav's updates. - You'll be all good
NO DAY. can Kapersky compare to norton.
Its not a bad firewall (ZoneAlarm being its daddY!
) but take this for an example.
Me and my friend were on this network that had DSL, as well as a bunch of PC full of viruses.
He's running Kap, I'm running Sav.
He's Fully updated, I"m fully updated
And 7/10 times that we have gone down to viruses. It has been him!
The other times - both of us have (prolly didnt update then).
They're both decent. But TRUST ME. I"m sure those people who are saying stay away from Norton - HAVENT tried corporate edition.
TRust me - If GRIM can say it isnt resource hoggy - believe it!
