Downgrading

Thread Starter
I have a chance to sell my motherboard and cpu, I plan on buying a D820 until the prices drop.

Will this be sufficient for me, I play hardcore games.
And I do plan on buying another DS3, or if im lucky im going to buy a sli motherboard.
Yeah, as long as you overclock the D820.

Actually, if you do downgrade to something in the lines of that--just get a D805. They're identical to the D820 apart from the different multiplier, and if you're overclocking, it shouldn't matter anyways.

Actually i think i saw that e2140 is around 10 usd cheaper than the d820 althoughI believe what gonX suggested is the best. Its a temp downgrading just get a d805.

He is downgrading cause he wants to sell fast his E6400 now that worths something before Q6600 drops in price and takes down all other CPUs. When the Q6600 will drop too he will buy it i guess.

Not quite, 820 is an 800mhz and the 805 is a 533mhz. Get the 805, or hell get a Celeron 420 it may actually be cheaper.
