520FSB On A DS3 - Page 2

what 1x pci-e issue are you talking about?
Its a problem with the board, that causes the PCI-e to lock itself on 1x instead of 16x. Voltage on the SB has always been the fix for me, but some people have said that cooling their NB better has made the lock go away for them. It usually only happens after a strap reset when OC'ing, for my P5B, it happens a lot beyond 420mhz FSB.

wow, that's wierd. thx for the info. i'd imagine that loc k would kill GPU performance.

I can't adjust SB volts, only FSB and Gmch. i've got a 40mm fan off an old abit k7 mobo ziptied to my NB HS. and i have not idea waht the temps are :/

You got the same as me, but I got the Tracers because I rather have got $25 MIR instead of a 2GB flash drive.

Great RAM.

But anyway...your processor stable at x7?
Nice FSB.

BTW -- what are your ambients? Nice temps too.
2 OP pls nerf
