Reworked my loop

Thread Starter
I reworked my loop today. I removed my reservoir and installed a T-line. I also utilized some 5/8OD tubing for part of the system because the Stinger V6 (older versions) do not handle 3/4OD well.

It is an illusion. Most of the tubing is 5/8OD, but because of the tight turn that is 3/4 OD.

What's the story with the clamp on the line leading to the CPU block?

I found out that the clamps are useless. They are not perfectly circular and thus cause an area of low pressure on the hose. It actually makes leaks more likely. That is one I just forgot to remove.

Anyway, I had a tube pop off. Got about 2 cups worth of water on my case / HDDs / cables / DVD drive. Everything is okay and functional. I have removed my watercooling as it has been a big pain for me lately and I just don't see much of a reason having it. I am doing some pretty moderate overclocking, which a air cooling solution can handle just fine. To avoid the extra risk and hassle, I think I will be moving to air.

All my WC stuff will be on sale soon.

thats a shame..... get the water working well, make sure its all sealed up, and they'll run for a long time.

i had a water system on my last athlon for 3+ years, it was a complicated huge loop. and it never let me down.
