IF I were you, I would figure out what was wrong first. I doubt very much it is a problem with the DIMM themselves.
Once again...

I'm running 158.22 drivers on my GFX card and I've reinstalled windows and all my drivers and still have bizarre performance issues.

Could it be my 120GB SATA? lol

Is your cpu at stock speeds? If so it might be bottlenecking that gtx of yours 9000 3dmark seems a bit low..Also what monitor/res are you running at?

CPU at stock = 9000

CPU at 3.0Ghz = 10,000 - 11,000

Still I think its silly that I get lag in Dark Messiah and Quake Wars. I wish I knew what was going on.

Yeah, wait til july 22nd and pick up a Q6600 for <$300. Your RAM isn't the bottleneck.

You can pickup some Gskill ddr2 800 4-3-4-5 for around 100$ on the egg.

*Next time dont buy RAM that uses 'max' timings for its speed. I use the Platinum XTC 800 EL and can run up to 960mhz @ 4-5-5-16-5...I only paid 90$ for it a couple of years ago.

You dont need ddr3...just better RAM. Those Gskills can see the plus side of 1000mhz easily.

If you found better RAM for cheaper...then get it. But if its CL5..its not a good buy.
